TV / Film & Commercial Studio Hire

We offer state-of-the-art television and film and commercial studios.

Our solutions are customised for any shoot requirements – commercials, drama series, reality TV shows, talk shows, game shows, corporate productions, documentaries, pod casts and even feature films or live broadcasts.

The Studios range in size from 58.8 sqm to 1035 sqm – there are 13 to choose from and are soundproof and air-conditioned, with levelled floors, walk on lighting gantries and Set Storage areas.

The larger studios also offer green rooms, make-up rooms and dressing rooms, as well as kitchenettes, depending on which studio you’ve hired.

The complex also features a 12-seater viewing theatre for client use.

Broadcast Facilities and Equipment Rentals

Our hi-tech broadcasting facilities, allow you to broadcast live to local e.TV, DStv/MultiChoice, SABC and to international broadcasters and we offer IT connectivity to accommodate Streaming Services.

Besides the dry-hire Studio rentals, Sasani rent out Control Rooms that are equipped with top-of-the-line Grassvalley broadcast cameras, directors’ box with multicamera vision desk and Graphics character generators, vision control rooms with Grade-1 HD broadcast monitors, lighting control rooms and multi-channel digital audio consols. These control rooms are all airconditioned and sound treated.

HD Video & Audio Post-Production Facilities

Our video and audio post-production facilities currently allow for live recordings from the studios to editing servers in real-time and allow for multi-layered collaborative editing, accessing over 686 Terabyte of Media Storage capacity and includes 25 edit suites and 5 audio suites.

Office Rentals for Production Requirements

Even though the Sasani location primarily operates as a Studio Hire complex for producing TV shows, dramas, movies, gameshows, commercials etc. we also provide an assortment of production offices and rooms that vary in size and are available for rent. This opportunity is perfect for supporting projects that are still in pre-production planning stages or can even be your central command centre for productions taking place across multiple external locations. Rental periods are flexible, and offices offer a host of on-site facilities and optional features to ensure your production office runs smoothly. Included is 24-hour on-site security, and personalised access control.

Multi-Format Conversions

We offer digitizing from various linear tape formats and transfers across a wide range of formats, onto hard drives for client re-purposing.
